Involving, engaging and interactive
"Tell me and I will forget,
Show me and I may remember,
Involve me and I will understand."

Active Exercises
Bringing to life how the way we behave influences others.
Self and Peer Assessment
Engaging the team in assessing themselves and others so that they work closely with the agreed standards. This provides a precedent for participants to continue to provide feedback in the workplace and embeds self-monitoring and policing. These exercises help define the way the team works together to addressing and resolving challenges.
Facilitated Discussion Groups
Providing a forum for the free and independent exchange of ideas, observations and opinions related to the goal of excelling at marketing communications.
Facilitated Surgery Sessions
Providing an effective implementation opportunity for developing alternative approaches and behaviours. This forum becomes a regular support group that continues to meet after the training.
‘Hot-seat’ Commitment Rounds
A commitment exercise that provides the forum for each individual in turn to sit in the ‘hot seat’ and give feedback on the ways in which they both reinforce and potentially undermine the standards with specific examples. These sessions are followed by a commitment made to the whole group regarding certain behaviours or approaches that they are going to change and those they want support for from the rest of the group.
‘Hot-seat’ Progress Rounds
We hear from each of the participants regarding the progress they have made against their commitment from the previous modules. Each delegate is briefed to provide examples of where they were able to make changes and also where they failed. MileStone recognise there is as much learning and development to be gained from our failures as our successes.
Journal learning
The participants use journals (provided during the first module) to reflect on and record progress against their commitment each night during the programme. The journals are used throughout the day to identify changes they want/need to make.
Partnering
Participants partner with someone they work closely with and make commitments to one another to help deliver on their commitments. This helps to ensure personal responsibility.
Individual Preparation Work
Delegates are given individual tasks to complete in each of the three modules.
Psychology Sessions
These valuable sessions bring each participant into contact with the implications of their individual approaches. Throughout all modules, there are opportunities for each individual to explore and challenge their own actions and the consequences of those actions.
Action Learning Sets
Provide the forum for assessing progress, sharing the practicalities of change and building on the successes for further periods of transference.
